THERAPY FOR MILITARY, VETERANS, & FIRST RESPONDERS IN GALVESTON & ACROSS TX & MI
Get out of survival mode. Remember your story isn’t over. Rebuild a life that finally feels like yours.
Once you’ve served your country or community, the things everyone else is concerned about just seem trivial.
MAYBE YOU’ve Experienced…
Feeling totally out of place in the civilian world, like no one around you really gets what you've seen or how it’s changed you.
Catching yourself snapping at the people you love, constantly frustrated at work, and wondering when you became this angry.
Lying awake at night, haunted by images you can’t shake, turning to alcohol or sleep aids just to get a little rest.
Struggling to find meaning in anything now that you’re not in active duty, and wondering if you'll ever feel that kind of purpose again.
Watching your relationship fall apart while you isolate or lash out, even though you don’t want to push your partner away.
Being told it’s time to get help—by your command, your spouse, or your gut—because something has to give, and fast.

You don’t have to explain what it means to serve—I’ve lived it, too.
I know what it’s like to wear the uniform, to be part of something bigger than yourself, and to miss it when it’s gone. I also know the frustration of trying to connect with people who don’t speak the same language—who don’t understand the weight of what you’ve seen and done or the pride that came with it.
Whether you’ve served, are still serving, working as a first responder, or love someone who does, I get the push-pull that comes with that life. I’ve walked in both boots—on deployment and back home waiting—and I’m here to help you sort through it all.
HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER
Support that speaks your language.
If you’ve served in the military or are a first responder, you already know we speak our own language—and yeah, I’m Air Force, so feel free to give me a little grief for that. But jokes aside, I want you to know that you’re not alone in what you’re going through, and that there is hope. In therapy, we’ll work together to unpack the thoughts, emotions, and memories that come with the job, and figure out where you are, where you want to go, and how to get there.
We won’t rush things, but I’ve found that once we get to the heart of what’s going on, progress tends to come quickly. When you learn to sit with those uncomfortable emotions instead of shoving them down or trying to outrun them, something powerful happens: they lose their grip on you. You’ve carried so much for so long—it’s time to try a new way forward, one where you're not doing it all alone.
Specialized therapy for military, veterans, and first responders can help you…
Reconnect with your purpose — Whether you’re missing the meaning you found in service or just feeling aimless, we’ll work together to figure out what gives your life direction now.
Build stronger relationships — Learn how to drop the armor, let people in, and rebuild trust so you can show up as the partner, parent, or friend you want to be.
Feel your emotions without being ruled by them — Know that emotions aren’t a weakness, and that feeling them fully is part of what makes you human.
Let go of old habits that no longer serve you — Find healthier ways of coping that actually work, and don’t leave you feeling like shit and full of regret in the morning.
Create a new identity outside of the military or career as a first responder — We’ll honor the pride and sacrifice that came with your service, while helping you find your place and your people on the outside.
Sleep, breathe, and simply feel better — Feel more like yourself in the best way and be able to relax and enjoy life in the present.

THERE’S A FULFILLING LIFE AFTER THE UNIFORM.
Let’s figure out what it looks like, together.

Yes, I absolutely do. I’m a veteran myself, and I’ve also been the spouse of someone who was deployed—so I deeply understand both sides of that experience. It’s hard to love someone who’s hurting or going through things you can’t fully see—not to mention that life and responsibilities have to continue to go on while they’re away. Whether you need support, clarity, or just a space to say things out loud, therapy can help you feel more grounded and less alone in it.

First responders include firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, police officers, dispatchers, and other folks who are the first ones on scene when something goes wrong. You show up for everyone else—but that doesn’t mean you don’t carry the weight of what you’ve seen. I work with people in these roles to help them manage that weight, take care of themselves, and stay connected to the people and things that matter most.
